Pastor Mike Martin
Lead Pastor
Mike is a graduate of Bluffton University with a degree in Social Work and is a United Methodist Local Licensed Pastor in the West Ohio Conference. He has been serving in ministry since 1999 and has served as the Executive Director of Samaritan Works in Sidney, OH and the Pastor of Recovery at Sidney First UMC. In 2014 Mike was appointed to Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City, OH serving as the Pastor of Care and Recovery until being appointed to the Park at Zoar Church in 2019.
Mike is an effective communicator God’s Word and known for his practical ways to counsel and help others apply timeless truths to overcome obstacles and live fully into God’s calling in their lives.
Mike and his wife Noel were recently married on June 15, 2019 and look forward to serving God and others the rest of their years together in ministry. Noel has served in ministry for over 20 years; including over a decade in overseas missions and she has served as the mission specialist at Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City, OH.
They share 3 adult children; Caleb, Jeremiah and Joanna. Together Mike and Noel enjoy biking, kayaking, fishing, traveling, time with family and soaking up the sun. You’re most likely find Mike reading, hanging around the pool, taking evening walks and spending time working out at the gym.

Christy Montgomery
Children's Ministry Director
Christy is excited and blessed to be the Children’s Ministry Director at The Park Church. She is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University. In 2011, she followed her desire to stay home with her newborn son, and resigned her position as a National Account Coordinator with Discount Labels. Her previous positions in ministry include Worship Team member for eight years, Children’s Church Minister for five years, occasional Sunday school teacher, and Youth Ministry assistant. At The Park, we place a high priority on the spiritual growth of our children. During the Sunday morning worship service, we offer classrooms for various age groups. Each Sunday school classroom is designed to effectively minister to the children with age appropriate activities and bible studies.
